[double celebration] Loi Hei + Crab Feast at Jumbo Seafood

This year, Valentine's Day happened to fall on the same week as CNY! To me, I value the Chinese Traditions more than anything else. An additional plus point is that I really like to eat crab! Hence, after a long discussion with Baby, we decided to go to Jumbo Seafood Restaurant for our celebration!

 

We visited the branch at the National Service Resort & Country Club (NSRCC), which is located near Changi. As Baby is a member of Jumbo Seafood, he received a complimentary voucher for a free Yu Sheng!

 

'Lo Hei' is a tradition during the CNY period that is believed to bring good luck and prosperity for the whole year. We will never miss out on this, especially since Baby has a fond liking for the dish!

 

Apart from the Yu Sheng, we ordered a plate of Seafood Beancurd, and it tasted great with its accompanying dip sauce. Another dish we had was the Egg Fried Rice, which had a tremendous 'Wok Hei', and tasted great.

 

Of course, the main dish was Jumbo's Signature Chilli Crab, and we ordered some Fried mantou to go along with the delicious gravy.

 

If you have high expectations for your taste-buds that are pertaining to seafood, then Jumbo Seafood is the perfect place for you to try it out! We had a great Crab Feast and of course a great Valentine's Day for just the both of us!
