[random-ness] HMM 21st Anniversary + Pulau Ubin

This year, my company celebrated its 21st Anniversary and the committee members came out with some team-building activities that ranged from an amazing race, to friendly tele-matches! The venue was set at Changi Village.

Since the celebration was made on Friday, my office was closed up early around 1pm. We were divided into 4 colored groups for a team challenge, and I was in the blue team! Kudos, to my team, as with everybody’s support, patience and unity, we came in first place! We were awarded shopping vouchers for this accomplishment!

One of the challenges was to travel from Changi Village to Pulau Ubin, and we took the boat from the Changi Point Ferry Terminal. I was glad to be at Pulau Ubin again, as this island a nice retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Singapore. It is an island with a rich history and heritage, and it is easy to take off one's mind off from any troubles they may have.

We boarded the old-fashioned looking boat and it took us about 20 minutes to reach Pulau Ubin from the mainland Singapore. We took a mandatory groupie upon reaching Pulau Ubin!

Dinner was served at the Changi Village Hotel, and the buffet spread was pretty decent. It was quantity over quality, and I guess the large amount of food was to reward all of us for our hard work during the activities! A big cheer to our successful group!

Lazing at Baby’s place for a steamboat fix is very enjoyable, especially when it is the weekend, or a public holiday. I used to think that it is merrier to have steamboat with a group of friends, but now, I love it even though it is just the two of us!

I found these in Baby's room! He surprised me by printing out some of our memorable photos of our overseas trips, and had framed them up! Such sweetness in my heart.

This was taken during our USWC holiday in April 2016, and we were at the Antelope Canyon which is located at Page, Arizona. How fast time flies! It has been a year since my trip to the States. I need to plan for another trip soon!

I end my post with a simple meal at Kim Gary Hong Kong Restaurant with my Baby on a random weekday after work dinner. The damage was less than SGD30 for a member’s discount of 10%.

Lastly, thanks Puvay and Sephora for the wonderful try-outs!
