Mr Ivan Sidorok, the founder of Mabius , presented his new food startup reality TV show, 'Meallions' at the Specialty & Fine Food Asia 2017 . This event was held at the Suntec convention Centre, Singapore . The show will premiere on YouTube in October 2017. The first season of 'Meallions' will comprise of 12 episodes, and the production will be available for both European and Asian regions. The Asian version will begin in India, and the finale of the first season will be held in Singapore. 15 Entrepreneurs and their startups from Asia, Europe & Russia will take part in the reality show, pitching their ideas for new food products with the ultimate goal of breaking into the global market. In the first 9 episodes, the entrepreneurs will stay together on a campus to compete for a spot in the semi-finals. OMAYA was well-received by many 'foodie', since its flagship outlet opening at Subang Jaya. It has stirred up hype and is well endorsed of many Korean food enthusiasts within Malaysia. After a short three months, they opened their second outlet at Mont Kiara. Now, barely half a year later, OMAYA's third outlet has been opened at Mount Austin, JB, and I was delighted to have been invited for the soft launch and food review session! Ah Mah Homemade Cake is a bakery from Malaysia that specializes in Castella Cakes, and is widely known for it's fantastic quality and taste. Now, they've opened an outlet at VivoCity, and I was present to taste the yummy Castella Cakes during the media launch! I loved it very much! Ah Mah Homemade Cake was first opened in Restoran Poh Yap, Kota Kemuning, Malaysia . Within a short period of 2 months, they opened 14 outlets across the country. The very first Singapore outlet was opened at Bukit Panjang Plaza on the 14th of July 2017. 6 days later, they opened the second outlet at VivoCity.   The sponge cake is inspired by the popular egg sponge cake originating from Tamsui (Danshui), Taiwan.
