[Japan trip] Tokyo One Piece Tower

Sorry for the 5-month long hiatus on sharing more on my last Summer holiday in Tokyo! In this post, I am going to share with you guys on my visit and adventures with Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew at the Tokyo One Piece Tower. It is located at one of Tokyo's iconic landmarks, the Tokyo Tower, and is Japan's first large scale One Piece Theme Park which was opened in March 2015.

We did not purchase any advanced tickets but we went there early to pick up the tickets before the park opens. We purchased the package tickets which also allowed us to visit the main observation at the top of the Tokyo Tower.

Upon reaching Tokyo Tower, we took the escalator to the 3rd floor, and we were greeted by Luffy and Chopper.

There were cool One Piece sculptures and displays, as well as carnival-type games/attractions.

Famous scenes from the Manga came to life with voices, colors appearing and flashing lights.

I was in awe of the original art, life-sized sculptures and animated videos which were created exclusively for this park.

We headed up to 4th floor for more interactive games. There were queues for every game/attraction but it was not horrendous.

I went to Brook's Horror House, and before entering the premises, the staff gave us a ping pong sized ball, which we were supposed to walk through the dark maze which were filled with ghouls. In order to escape the maze, we need to put the given ball inside the mouth of a zombie! We also tried the betting games in Nami's Casino Castle.

Zoro's Soul of Edge is a slashing game with a inflatable sword. It was pretty addictive!

We went to Franky's Cola Bar for some snacks, as well as Cafe Mugiwara for desserts!

I was so happy and lucky at the same time to sit beside Trafalgar Law. *Fangirl star-struck!*

We continued the day with Luffy's Endless Adventures which was located on the 5th level. We love this attraction very much, especially the mirror mazes.

We ended our One Piece adventure with a live performance stage show! Though this theme park is relatively smaller as compared to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disneysea, but you must come here if you are a fan of the series! It will definitely keep you entertained for at least half a day!

Do note that the entire language used in the park is Japanese. Do not worry, as we still managed to get things right at the end of the day!

We got ourselves a One Piece Medallion from the One Piece Mugiwara Store at 500YEN each

After we were done with our Tokyo One Piece Theme Park, we went up to the main observatory to view the nice Tokyo view! It was pretty breath-taking even though it was only from the main observatory instead of the special observation.

If you guys are interested to view the beautiful skyline of Tokyo, then do purchase the special observatory (250m high) at the main observatory.

Thanks for reading!
