Birthday celebration at Supply & Demand, Esplanade Mall.
About a week before Joanne's holiday trip to Taiwan, we (Meryl, Jasmine and yours truly) arranged a birthday celebration for her at Supply & Demand which is located at the Esplanade Mall.
There are two floors for the outlet located in Esplanade Mall.
The ground level is divided into an indoor & alfresco dining and the upper
level is a rooftop bar. Diners can select their preference for their
dining or simply chill out with drinks and admire the skyline of Marina Bay,
Singapore.
We ordered drinks while waiting for our food to be served.
Jasmine ordered Carte Blanche (Roasted Chicken) while the rest
of us opted for pastas in tasting portions.
I had Chicken Aglio Olio (penne). The tasting portion is just
perfect for me as it gave my stomach more room for other shared food and
desserts. The pasta tasted delicious and overall it was perfectly done!
We shared a 9-inch pizza and I always have a soft spot for pizzas with soft egg on the Center. The pizzas are worth a try in Supply & Demand
as they are freshly baked and are the thin crusted variety with generous toppings as well.
The ‘Morning After’ Pizza tasted awesome and it is topped with
my favorite breakfast ingredients such as mushrooms, bacon and soft egg.
We ordered Garlic Truffles Fries as our side and it cost us
SGD15. Oh well, I personally feel that it is pretty hefty to pay for fries, but
we are somewhat compensated by the generous portion given.
Birthday girl, Joanne made her choice of cake for the cake-cutting
celebration at Supply & Demand. She picked up a Blackberry Cake.
We sang her a birthday song, followed by tons of photo-takings.
We had an enjoyable night chatting and cracking jokes with one
another. Hope she liked and enjoyed the mini celebration as much as we did.
We took more photos against the skyscraper backdrop of Singapore at the
Bay-line outside the restaurant before parting.
