[product launch] World’s Thinnest Tablet - Dell Venue 8

Dell launched their World’s Thinnest Tablet, Dell Venue 8, and the launch event was held at Art Plural Gallery. We were so happy to see the birth of the razor thin tablet which measured at 6mm.

The tablet has an 8MP main camera and two 720P cameras separated by 80cm that capture a stereoscopic image with every photograph. We can change the brightness of a foreground object or background object, or refocus on any part of the picture.

With the latest Intel Atom Processor Z3500 series, the Venue 8 provides faster web browsing and photo editing. We can also enjoy an immersive audio experience through the tablet’s premium audio technology.

Dell Gallery is a new innovative software, which empowers the tablet’s photo viewing experience and this application automatically sorts images into smart albums by timeline, geography or facial recognition.

We did our mandatory group photo shots when we met up with one another at the event. This is an essential practice for us, as the photos are keep-sake of our time together .

I had a good time spent with my favorite girlfriends. A great reunion indeed!

The tablet has an aluminium finish which gives it a sleek and premium look, and it is comes with a stunning 8.4-inch edge-to-edge display that provides sharper viewing from all angles.

On-the-go is the key function for Venue 8, and with the help of the Dell Venue 8 Keyboard Folio - a slim and lightweight wireless keyboard that helps make replying to emails or editing documents easier.

The Venue 8 is now retailing at SGD659 with the Dell Venue Folio and at SGD699 with the Dell Venue Keyboard Folio.

We simply indulged ourselves by taking photos against the artworks which were displayed at the Art Plural Gallery.

Thanks Dell for the kind hospitality and invitation, and it was a pleasure to be part of the product launch.
