[opening segment] Chriz Tong at Sundown Festival 2013

The annual Sundown Festival was back on the 16 November 2013 at Marina Promenade for the fifth time, and this year’s edition of Sundown Festival is a truly Asian music festival for all Asian lovers .
 
 
The Sundown Festival showcased a mixture of rock and pop Asian music acts hailing from 8 different countries. It is a celebration of a diverse range of Asian music and cultures with eight full hours of music, hence this outdoor fest was set to impress.


 
 
 Before the headlining acts from the eight Asian countries at night, our home-grown singer, Chriz Tong has an individual singing segment at the Sundown Festival this year too after her sold-out solo concert at the Recital Studio.

 
 


 
 Apart from music, Sundown Festival also showcased some best cultural acts and delicious street food at the Asian Street Food Village.



 
I was there as early as 4pm to show my support to our local act, Chriz Tong.
 
 
During her performance, she sang familiar TV theme songs and I was glad to hear that Sundown Festival is also supporting the local acts. It is definitely a privilege to listen to her singing once again.

I picked up a box of Peking Duck Crepes from the Asian Street Food Village, and I simply enjoy trying out the exotic street fare...

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
