Launch of LEGO Friends' Friendship Campaign

LEGO® Friends, a fun and exciting product by The LEGO Group for girls aged 5 to 12, revolves around five friends in fictional Heartlake City, and the theme for kids is to promote bonds of friendship and interaction through play. LEGO® Friends will roll out its Friendship Campaign to foster and strengthen bonds of friendship while playing with LEGO® Friends toys.

I attended a girlish launch event on LEGO Friends' Friendship Campaign which was conducted at the LEGO Singapore office...

 

 

Like all LEGO sets, the LEGO Friends animal sets can be combined, allowing children to create a large, interconnected imaginary world. And for the first time, the concept combines real and virtual scenarios. Children can also look after their turtles, hedgehogs and other animal friends online or download further building instructions at LEGO.com/Friends.

 

 

The LEGO Friends product line focuses on the interests of girls aged between five and twelve, who find the highly detailed scenarios particularly appealing. The children can use LEGO bricks to build the modular models before acting out role plays relating to their favorite topics of friendship, music, sport, dancing, animals and nature. As part of the Friendship Campaign launch, LEGO^® Friends embarks on a charming journey of ‘How to Build a Friendship’ short film duology, and wil be giving out a Limited Edition Friendship Diary.

 

 

‘How to Build a Friendship’ short film duology showcases five young friends gathered around a table, sharing tips, thoughts and opinions of friendship while playing with LEGO^® Friends. It is available for viewing on the LEGO^® YouTubechannel - http://www.youtube.com/lego

 

  

 

The videos take on a cheerful interaction between friends, and the joys associated with coming together in play, as each girl candidly shares her views on topics and scenarios about friendship.
 

 

The videos include lovely moments with friends, like cheering up a friend by doing the chicken dance and being truthful is one of the most important elements in friendship.  

 The LEGO^® Friends Friendship Diary is a limited-edition activity book.

 

 

The Friendship Diary encourages children to jot down thoughts and feelings and is filled with several engaging activities. These include drawing spaces, craftwork and an assortment of games that can be played with friends. Additionally, the diary can be personalized with an array of bright and colorful stickers that come with the diary.
