Lovely lunch at Prima Tower Revolving Restaurant

Do you know that there are only 2 revolving restaurants in Singapore? One of them is ‘Top of the M’ which on the 39th floor at the Meritus Mandarin Hotel and of course the other is the iconic Prima Tower Revolving Restaurant.

Though Prima Tower Revolving Restaurant is on the 11th floor but the rotating mechanism is much more noticeably and smoother than the one at Top of the M.

Prima Tower Revolving Restaurant is located within Keppel Singapore and the attraction of this Chinese restaurant is that it revolves 360 degrees. We, diners can enjoy the panoramic view of the harbour.

There is nothing to shout about on the setting of the restaurant, as it is just a simple traditional Chinese setting with red carpet.

Appetizer / Starter: Braised Peanuts and Seasoned Pickles

The kitchen is not located in the restaurant, and therefore the food orders get transported from the kitchen to the restaurant via in-house food-tray lift. So all I can say is that the serving of the food is pretty slow and we waited quite a while before the food was served to our table...

Starting off our lunchie with one of their signature favorites, the delectable 赛螃蟹(Sai Pang Xie) Shredded Scallops with Fish/Crab and egg white.

Flavorful yet light on the taste buds with a delightful taste of seafood and the texture was just perfect. I love it without a doubt, it is truly a signature dish of Prima Tower. Do add in a few drops of black vinegar as it will enhance the aroma of the whole dish.

Apart from the signature dish, we also ordered the Congee with Century Egg and Lean Meat and some Dim Sum.

The dim sum entrees that we ordered were tasted pretty average, but I love the Century Egg Congee!!

Pan Fried Carrot Cake

Har Gow (Steamed Shrimp Dumpling)

I love the filing of the BBQ Pork Bun but the dough was kinda thick and this really cause some minus point from me, as I have tried nice soft dough BBQ pork buns before.

Steamed Spare Rib with Yam and Black Beans

Siew Mai (Steamed Minced Pork in Crab Roe)

Beijing Xiao Long Bao

The BBQ Pork Rice Roll was good!! The meat tasted juicy and the black light sauce makes the difference... Ohh!! I love every bit of it (:

Lastly, we packed some Lotus Buns from the eatery place for later indulgence as we were going to the sandy beach of Sentosa...

The service was pretty decent, and the service staff is fairly responsive to our need. They pretty much left us on our own unless we initiate the request from them. The damage was SGD90-ish after SGD50 voucher deduction we only paid SGD40-ish. It was rather pricey to dine in Prima Tower Revolving Restaurant, but nevertheless, we are also paying for the spectacular view and the ambiance too...
