Dinner @ IPPUDO TAO

This is our 2nd visit since we had our Valentine's dinner @ IPPUDO TAO... We missed that quiet surrounding and the laid back feeling one may obtain if they are dining at the alfresco area...

This time round, I wanted to try something new, therefore we chose to dine indoors, as the previous time, we sat outside...

IPPUDO TAO bears an elegant interior that consists of a fusion of red and black shades. The lighting setting was rather dim due to the red and black theme... As one can tell from my photos of the food, the lighting was pretty bad, and it was not ideal for taking photographs.

I had the original IPPUDO SHIRO, which was tonkotsu broth and Hakata-style (thin and straight) noodles... This is the original ramen which IPPUDO is famous for!

Baby had the IPPUDO TAO special – TAO KURO, with thick chewy noodles to symbolize the dynamism of TAO, and it was served in tonkotsu broth with added miso paste and fragrant garlic oil.

We had the unique Gyoza from IPPUDO TAO again... Simply love the restaurant's special way of serving (:

The filling was well marinated and the Gyoza tasted REALLY good as a whole...

As both of us are mad about the IPPUDO Pork Buns, we ordered a bun each for ourselves...

The braised pork is so soft and fragrant. It tasted uber delicious...

The damage was SGD51. The dinner was kinda pricey... Oh well, but their ramen really tasted good, think it is pretty worthwhile afterall. A delightful dinner, indeed!
