Shanghai Tang Singapore Flagship store

Attended the new Shanghai Tang Singapore Flagship store at Takashimaya Shopping Centre... Thanks AUGUST MAN Magazine for the invite.

Shanghai Tang is an international clothing chain company, founded in 1994 by Hong Kong businessman, David Tang. He claimed that Shanghai Tang is a Chinese label that sets out to rejuvenate Chinese Fashion.


The original flagship Shanghai Tang store is in Hong Kong... Till date, Shanghai Tang has 24 outlets worldwide, including Bangkok, Beijing, Dubai, Honolulu, Kuala Lumpur, London, Miami, New York, Las Vegas, Madrid, Paris, Shanghai, Singapore and Macau.


Shanghai Tang caters for all genders and even for the children too...

All the garment pieces are traditional but with the modern edge that makes them look stunning and look classy when wearing them...



The fundamental design concept is inspired by traditional Han Chinese clothing combined with the modernity of the 21st century. The brand is noted for its very bright color usage as the main iconic design.




Shanghai Tang offers Imperial Tailoring service which is an one-on-one style consultation that involves choosing fabrications and linings, taking body measurements and, most importantly, creating new designs based on the clients’ needs.


They have a large variety of fabric on the shelves...


The casino chips from Shanghai Tang surprised me, as I never expected that they would sell this in the store as well...

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
