Gathering with friends

We had pre-arranged a few days before the meet up for a casual dinner at Upper Serangoon... We (5 of us) met up at Kovan Station then we made our way to Alishan, famous coffeeshop-like eatery place for porridge dinner...  




These were the dishes we ordered to go along with our sweet potato porridge... The damage was SGD30, it was pretty hefty for simple/normal dishes we had ordered but nevertheless what matters most was that we enjoyed our dinner very much.


These were the two items I enjoyed the most during the dinner...



William took a picture of us using his latest Nikon compact camera which has a projector function... He projected the taken photo on the table for us to view it... Kinda cool isn't it?


After our dinner, we took a bus down to NEX for some desserts...


I had glutinous balls with sesame filling in ginger soup...


William, Yongwei & Valentine had the combo dessert which included almond paste, beancurd and 2 glutinous balls... This was the mistake made by Yongwei, therefore they were having such a filling dessert..


Sweetie too had the combo dessert which included peanut paste, beancurd and 2 glutinous balls... This again was the fault caused by Yongwei, so she had to bear to finish up her weird combination dessert..


We took some pictures at NEX before calling off a day...





Nice catching up with them, simply love their companionship, do more in the future. OKIE!

Met up Darren Ong at I12 Katong, as Valentine and I were the winners from his giveaways... Yes, we won ourselves the world smallest MP3 player, The Kube2...

We set our mind at Kuroya for dinner... Kuroya was established in 2009 to appeal to the younger generation and to impress patrons with taste palettes for quick, easy and affordable Japanese set meals.


We went for the 112 Christmas Special...

The damage was SGD30... Straight after dinner, I left first, leaving the two at the mall, as they were catching the free screening at GV Katong... Enjoy guys!!

[Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
