Merci & Au Revoir Paris

Today was our last day in Paris... We left the hotel pretty early to do some sightseeing and to have a wonderful french meal before heading back to London...

We took the metro to the outskirts of Paris to have a lovely and peaceful brekkie...

Jess Baby and her mini Viennois (basically was Ham & Cheese Sandwich)...

And our fave breakfast tea - Earl Grey...

After our brekkie, we took the metro to St-Michel Notre Dame Station... We are heading to Paris's most well-known Cathedral - Notre Dame de Paris... We were amazed by the buildings as we were walking towards the church...

Here we are, Notre Dame de Paris also known as Notre Dame Cathedral...

Do you guys still rememer way back in 1996, a movie titled - The Hunchback of Notre Dame was released to theaters on June 21, 1996 by Walt Disney Pictures... The film's animators visited the actual cathedral at Notre Dame in Paris for a few weeks before starting their project. They made and took hundreds of sketches and photos in order to stay fully faithful to its architecture and detail.

We were about to enter the historial church - Notre Dame

OMG! It looked magnificent and I love the high ceiling... Notre Dame de Paris is widely considered as one of the finest examples of French Gothic artchitecture in France and in other parts of Europe...

Both Baby & I love the stained glasses inside the church...

I took some pictures of the displayed sculptures in the church...

Lastly we got some Medallions through the 'vending machine' for our keepsake...

We were about to leave Notre Dame for our lunch... Au Revoir (:

We took the metro to Charles de Gaulle - Étoile station and settled ourselves at GEORGE V Cafe for our lunchie...

I took a few shots of Baby at the eatery place... We loved this laid-back feeling...

We ordered the Kronenbourg 1664, French beer for 2

~ Complimentary bread ~

OMG! The savoury tarts tasted fabulous, and they were on the house...

Baby had Coquille St Jacques - A luxurious scallop gratin in a rich and creamy sauce... Baby simply indulged his taste buds with the scallops and mushrooms...

I had half a dozen of Escargots, a french cuisine that I love the most... I enjoyed every bit of it (:

Our damage was EUR 40 and we were given 2 mini bar chocolates for our 'desserts' upon footing the bill...

After our meal, we went to Avenue des Champs-Elysées, the top shopping district in Paris...

LOUIS VUITTON owns the whole building... dying to be there... *DROOLS*

I got some purchases from Yves Rocher and the products are made of natural ingredients...

More sight-seeing in Paris

We went to Moulin Rouge by Metro and the nearest station was Blanche... The Moulin Rouge is best known as the spiritual birthplace of the modern form of the can-can dance. Today the Moulin Rouge is a tourist destination, offering musical dance entertainment for visitors from around the world. Much of the romance of the turn-of-the-century France is still present in the club's decor.

Look at the queue outside Moulin Rouge, it was insanely long...

On our way back to our hotel, we passed by a newstand, and Baby picked up this treasure at EUR5.99 as he is a fan of Tin Tin...

While I picked up some cutesy Calendar Chocolate from the Supermarché...

That's conclude my 3D/2N in Paris... Do look out to my post on the most memorial trip to Disneyland Paris...
