I love gathering!!!

Went for Brunch Gathering @ Eastern Restaurant with a large group of blogger friends last weekend....

13 of us... say 'hi' to the camera before heading for our brunch....  

Located at the very end of The Centrepoint, the quality and freshness of the food are the restaurant's top priority towards their patrons...


I ordered Zha Jiang Mian as my main course...


The salty fermented soybean paste which is commonly called as Zha Jiang (炸酱) ehnances the taste of the wheat noodles, which makes the noodles taste even better and delicious...


Sweetie had Yang Zhou Fred Rice


A popular Chinese style wok fried rice dish... Chinese barbecued pork or 'cha siu' (叉燒) is an essential ingredient , so when eating the rice you will find the fried rice tasted sweetish and savoury at the same time...

Jess Baby was busy doing her food shots, while others were busy chit-chatting...

Eastern Restuarant is well-known for its Collagen Noodles


Classic Wanton Mee - The soup based was light and clear yet fragrant... The meat filling was Juicy and well -marinate too...

~ Shanghai Noodles with Pork Ribs ~


One of my fave dish - Kang Kong with Beancurd Sauce... The veggies was well-cooked, I love the special Beancurd sauce as it made the dish more special from other Chinese restuarants... 


'Tong Po Rou' - Braised Pork Belly... OMG! It tasted very good, but it kinda sinful to swallow it down...But Who cares when comes to good food... Hahaha!!


Another dish that rocked my day, Wanton with Hot Chilli Sauce...

Thin & soft wanton skin with delicious meat filing. Tasted great with the spicy vinegar suace with much oily feel, but most importantly. it perked up my appetite.


Eastern Xiao Long Bao - A MUST TRY !! The size of the Xiao Long Bao is much smaller than other Chinese restaurants but neverthless, they tasted awesome.


YES! Both Michelle & I savored every bit of the Xiao Long Bao...


Custard Buns (Liu Sha Bao) were the highlight of our gathering... A MUST ORDER ITEM!!


The sweetness of the filling was just right for me... I don't really have a sweet tooth...

Love the bloggers' harmony... We enjoyed our brunch as a whole and we will definitely come back for more in the near future.

[Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
