Marina at Keppel Bay

Baby & I went to Marina at Keppel Bay to have a sunset chill-out @ Prive, Waterfront Bar. Most importantly, there is a need to spend equal time with each other on a Sunday afternoon ...

We were greeted by the weather board... This is our first time visiting this 'high society' place... We were amazed by the ambience.  



 The soon-to-be-completed project - Reflections at Keppel Bay, luxury waterfront residential and will be completed by 2013.
We took some pictures against the bay... The landscape is really very beautiful...

Cruise yachts for chartering... This is an extremely 'atas' hobby.

 Enough of scenic photo-taking, we went to Prive - Waterfront Bar to get some drinks...

We had cocktails there... Baby ordered The Perfect Mojito, while I got myself the Southern Peach... The damage was SGD36.50, which was quite a hefty price to pay for 2 glasses of cocktail.

Before we left the bay, we saw the cruise liner Star Virgo departing from the terminal, Baby managed to take some good shots of the vessel... Great job, Baby!



We will come back again for more chill-out sessions, but will choose to come in the night because the weather was pretty scorching in the day...

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. Oh well, seems like a rip off to me!       The film focuses on Dusty Crophopper (voiced by Dane Cook), an ambitious crop-dusting plane that predictably spends his days flying over tall grass spraying fertilizer. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
