'Ghost' is a Japanese remake of the 1990 Hollywood Blockbuster - 'Ghost' which starred Patrick Swayze & Demi Moore. The Japanese remake is about an undying love affair between a Korean ceramist & Japanese businesswoman - even death does not come between the inseparable couple.
This movie - 'Ghost' is about a successful young entrepreneur Nanami Hoshino (played by Nanako Matsushima) who meets a Korean ceramist, Juno Kim (starring Song Seung Heon). The couple fall in love and their love blossoms but their happiness is short-lived. A year after their marriage, Nanami is killed in an accident. Her soul remains with Juno, during this time, she realizes that her death was not an accident but a conspiracy and Juno is in imminent danger. The only way for Nanami to warn Juno is through a psychic, Satsuki Unten (played by Kiki Kirin). Love continues to stay alive between the two even though they have no physical contact.
Korean actor - Song Seung Heon has proved his star power with this movie which debuted at the second place spot in the box office ranking in Japan. His expression of love in this movie is pretty impressive in despite of the language barrier. It is such a lovely sight to see two people from two different cultures falling deeply in love with each other.

3.5/5

I remembered the passionate pottery wheel scene between Demi Moore & Patrick Swayze in the 1990 film - 'Ghost'. After 21 years later, Korean hearthrob - Song Seung Heon & Japanese Sweetheart - Nanako Matsushima have re-enacted the classic 'Unchained Melody' moment. A sweet nostalgia feeling for me!

I had the pleasure of watching the preview screening all thanks to Kosé Singapore. The premiere date is on the 10 March 2011.
