No Strings Attached Preview Screening

I won 2 pairs of tickets to No Strings Attached from xinmsn.com & United International Pictures (UIP) respectively. As usual, Baby & I went for the preview screening @ The Grand Cathay... Since I got 2 additional more tickets... So I invited Susie & Ryna along for the screening...

My winning tickets came along with 2 packs of tissue paper featuring the upcoming movie - Kungfu Panda 2.

'Chop-ped' 2 seats for Wendy & RJ, as they were on the way for the screening too :) The Grand Cathay is HUMONGOUS...

'No Strings Attached' is an American romantic comedy film starring Natalie Portman & Ashton Kutcher. Comedy veteran Ivan Reitman hasn't directed a film since 'My Super Ex-Girlfriend' in 2006 and this year he returned back to his director's chair for the latest movie - 'No Strings Attached'

In this comedy movie, Emma (played by Natalie Portman) and Adam (Starring Ashton Kutcher) were friends eversince they were teenagers who almost ruined everything by having sex in one random morning. In order to protect their friendship, they make a pact to keep their relationship strictly 'no strings attached' which means no jealously, no expectations, no fighting and no staring deeply into each other's eyes.

Emma is a successful doctor who works eighty hours a week and she is not looking for a relationship while Adam is an aspiring writer who is looking for a break working at a 'Glee-typed' television show. Their encounters lead the two into a relationship with 'No Strings Attached' in other words no commitment, just sex. The new generation concept of friends with benefits.

'No Strings Attached' is a romantic comedy movie but it pretty hard to embrace at times. This film injects a lot of sexual humor. Ashton Kutcher & Natalie Portman are perfectly cast in their roles... A pretty entertaining movie with some predictable storylines. I love the touching ending no matter how cliche it is.

I had the pleasure of watching the preview screening all thanks to xinmsn.com & United International Pictures (UIP). The premiere date is on the 17 February 2011.

[Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
