Foodies again

It has been a long hiatus since I last visited Tampopo.. I kinda miss their Tonkatsu Ramen... So I went to the outlet at Liang Court for my dinner...
OM! Their salmon belly sashimi really taste heavenly, GREAT & FRESH... I love it to the max :P

On a random day, Baby suggested to eat Chix Rice, so he drove bezzie & I to Prinsep Street... Yes, we went to Mackenzie Rex Restaurant...

Mackenzie Rex Restaurant was voted Best Top 10 Chicken Rice Award in Singapore and Best Halal Chicken Rice Restaurant.

A simple food court-like setting, we ordered 3 individual sets of Chix Rice...

~ My verdict ~

Well, unfortunate to say, I don't like it at all... The roasted chicken meat is pretty hard and very dry... The rice & chilli sauce is tasteless too. The china-ese staff are very unfriendly and overall, it was a bad dining experience...

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. Oh well, seems like a rip off to me!       The film focuses on Dusty Crophopper (voiced by Dane Cook), an ambitious crop-dusting plane that predictably spends his days flying over tall grass spraying fertilizer. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
