Donnie Yen - A very familiar name in Hongkong and Hollywood... He brings out his roles remarkably well in every movie. I really impressed by his acting skills and martial arts. I never missed out any of his movies. Thumbs Up for all his movies!!

Let me share some of my forever kungfu star - Donnie Yen's biography & his career stage with everyone out there...

Donnie Yen is a Hong Kong martial artist, actor, film director, action choreographer and film producer... Apart from being a well-known film and television actor in Hong Kong... He has also gained international recognition for appearing in many films.

At a very young age, under influence from his mother, he developed an interest in martial arts and began experimenting with various styles, ranging from taekwondo to wushu... His whole family shifted to Boston, MA, USA from Hong Kong when he was 11 years old... He was then sent by his parents to Beijing on a two-year training programme with the Beijing Wushu Team.

Donnie Yen made his breakthrough role as General Nap-lan in Once Upon a Time in China II in 1992... He won the Best Action Choreography at the Golden Horse Film Awards and the Hong Kong Film Awards for his performance in Flash Point in 2007. In 2008, he starred in Ip Man, a semi-biographical account of Yip Man, the Wing Chun master of Bruce Lee... Ip Man became the biggest box office hit to date which featured Donnie Yen in the leading role.

His new movie - Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen 《精武风云: 陈真》is definitely a 'MUST' watch movie for me as he's a truly legendary icon... Hope I can be selected for the gala premiere...

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
