Jurlique B'fast Party ended ard 11.20am... Jo and I walked to Ion from Tangs Beauty Hall....cos we were pretty much wanted to eat in Taste Paradise but it was fully booked even for 2 person... and we were told to come back only after 1.45pm... OM!! That was insane... 2hrs plus for the table... so we went a floor down to eat in Canton-i instead.






Dim sum we ordered

Glutinous Rice - Yummy and fillings are generous...


Sreamed Pork Ribs with Yam - Taste ok.. but mostly fats and bones... no meat at all...


Siew Mai with Shrimp - Good.. very juicy inside...


Chives Dumpling with Shrimp - Disappointed, as the chives is not seasoned well enough...


Prawn Dumplings (Har Gaw) - Bad... the skin is hard and powdery...


Aged Pu'er by the pot @ $12.00... (OMG!! $6 per pax)...

Total damage was $43. Five items of Dim Sum + Pot of tea... really expensive... I think the dimsum served in Imperial Treasures is cheaper and taste better...

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. Oh well, seems like a rip off to me!       The film focuses on Dusty Crophopper (voiced by Dane Cook), an ambitious crop-dusting plane that predictably spends his days flying over tall grass spraying fertilizer. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
