Backdated post @ Sweet Spring - AMK Hub

It was a Saturday morning... labelled as 'Chong Pang Day'... Met Joanne @ Chong pang for some neighbourhood buys...

As we were meeting Susie and Patricia.... @ AMK Hub for some shopping and chatting session... While waiting for Patricia... We went look see look see.. any cool or new place in the Hub... We came across this new eatery called Sweet Spring (Tang Shui Chun)....



Once Patricia came... we headed straight for some desserts... A bit disappointed if you are looking for an vast dimsum selection menu... Saw less than 10 types of dimsum in the menu... Arrgh!!!

We ordered Jasmine milk tea with rainbow jelly, Strawberry blend, Lemon Green apple with pearl bubble tea and Beancurd (Dou Hua) and Dim sum shared among 4 of us.... Overall the food is passable. I like the Glutinous Rice and Siew Mai the most.

Chicken Feet (Feng Zhao) - not bad either

Last but not least - Glutinous Rice... Delicious... *10 points*... Yummy

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. Oh well, seems like a rip off to me!       The film focuses on Dusty Crophopper (voiced by Dane Cook), an ambitious crop-dusting plane that predictably spends his days flying over tall grass spraying fertilizer. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
