X'mas Eve Dinner with Baby

Home-cooked food for X'mas Eve dinner.... Too crowded & expensive to eat outside as we need to save up for our 2009 trips... Some planned trips in Jan (Bintan), in Feb (Hong Kong & Shenzhen) and in Apr (New Zealand)...

Baby did the cooking.... all himself... I only helped him in doing some trivial things....

Today's Menu - Penne Rigrates in Miso Soup with Mixed Mushrooms & Sausages... simply...call it Miso Soup Pasta.... Side dish - Grilled Pork & Chicken Sausages...
Baby used the higher-grade penne rigrates .... white i/o yellow in color.... Baby cooked the penne first... till they were soft then rinse off with cold water to maintain the chewy-ness & removed the lye from the penne.....

The main ingredients - Mixed Mushrooms & Sausages
He made the miso soup... add warm water to the soy bean paste in the pan & stir well...
Added in Mixed Mushrooms & Sausages in the miso soup and boiled till the ingredients were all cooked....

While Baby was making soup pasta, I grilled the sausages in the oven toaster... & lit up the candle.... for a candle-light dinner.....
Got this from Germany... @ 3 Euro (UP 9.90 Euro)
Our fave grilled sausages were ready to eat.... Served with ketchup & chilli sauce.....

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
